Autumn is upon us and I am really enjoying the still warm weekends and rich colours. Anyone exploring the Highlands during the rest of the summer would do well to stop off in Ullapool and enjoy the hospitality of Terry and Shirley Rose, owners of Westlea House, a stylish Boutique B&B in the heart of the town.
They also own a stunning, contemporary, modular building, situated on the edge of Loch Broom called Sealoch House and it is available for holiday lets.
You can see the level of comfort they offer and their attention to detail.
They moved up here after years of enjoying holidaying in the area.
Shirley is an artist, she designed the beautiful interior and her work is on display throughout their home. Doug and I had the privilege of staying in their home, depicted here, when we shot it for Coast magazine. It was an amazing experience, I would thoroughly recommend, the sense of peace and tranquility was incredible – take me back now!
